What if it rains?
Arrive no later than 9:20am to register and have enough time to find cart and partner. Give yourself some time to enjoy the pre-round festivities and warm-up. See the schedule below to plan accordingly. We will have pre-round contests! Your hole assignments will be given at registration and also labeled on the carts.
10:30am shotgun start.
We will be doing a group photo at 10:20am. It is not mandatory to be in it, but it would be great if you do show up!
The trophy ceremony will be held in the dining room. Enjoy the food we have prepared for your dinner! Select items were crafted by JB and the good people at Tropa.
Turn scorecards in to JB Balingit or Brandon Fox.
Look good play good. Smile for the camera (photographers and videographers will be capturing the event).
4-player scramble
We are constantly checking the forecast. Right now it looks like we are clear of any rain. If for any reason the weather changes and there is a high-percentage of heavy rain and wind, or thunderstorm; we will make the decision in advance if the event will postpone.
If it is clear when the event starts but storms later in the day:
The initial option is to do what any other city outside of California does -- We take the amount of holes that every team has played and determine the best score. For example: If 100% of the teams at least played 12 holes, then a winner will be chosen based on the lowest score out of 12 holes.
This isn't a Spartan race to see who can complete the most holes in the rain. Golf has always been about who can score the lowest amount of strokes in the same amount of holes.
Rules
Other than the obvious rules in golf, we have 3 important ones to abide by:
1. Do not be a jerk!
2. Keep Pace-of-Play in mind at all times
--- If your group misses a par putt, pick up the ball, write down bogey, and move to the next hole.
3. DO NOT CHEAT

All players tee off, team chooses which shot to play from, repeat.

Ball placement within 1 club length, putting within one scorecard.

Must keep ball on the same lie (ie: if the ball selected is in the rough then all shots must be played from the rough).

All players will tee off from gold tees. Ladies have the option to play from the forward tee. For the hole-in-one contest, everyone tees off at the same location.
